Experience
I have 35 years of experience tutoring primary school, secondary school, and university students one-on-one and in groups. I also have 20 years of university tutoring experience at Griffith, QUT, and UQ. Some of the areas I can help students cover as a tutor include academic writing, research, and improving general study skills. I can also help edit draft assessment items. I can tutor students in most humanities subjects as well as history, journalism, creative writing, literature, history, introduction to law, sociology, politics, economics, and much more. I am most interested in helping students of all ages achieve their full potential. For primary school tutoring, I favor a back-to-basics approach designed to help struggling students. For university students, I bring up-to-date subject and research knowledge, awareness of university life and educational requirements, and the ability to relate to issues that university students often face.
